A New Door!!!!

Our house received an early Christmas present this year...actually we were just in need of a new more airtight door, so that we could savor our expensive heating oil! We are really enjoying the new door. Those who have been to our home know that the old door could be a little frustrating to get shut and as you were trying to get it shut you thought maybe the glass would break because you had to slam it so hard. Now when people come to the door and knock we don't hear them because the door doesn't rattle. Oh the things you give up when you replace the old with something new. Since there were some other minor things involved in replacing the door, Marci now has a wall that needs painted after the holidays are over. Maybe she will just paint the whole room, wouldn't that be fun?

Flowers of Appreciation

Each Fall/Winter at church we try to do something for our pastors to show them how much we appreciate
all the hard work they put in at church. I had the honor of doing the flower arrangements for the serving tables at the meal that we had to honor them. I had a lot of fun doing them and coming up with something new and creative to make them special for this event. Some day maybe I will do this full time...until then I will do it as opportunity presents!
